The study contained 501 participants, while one study did not include the number of participants involved. The studies that specified gender comprised 78% males and 22% females. The primary outcome assessed was the effect of starting intervention early on, which showed promising results. The key improvements reported were a substantial increase in cognitive ability, effective communication, better social skills, and, most importantly, a decrease in anxiety levels. Another notable outcome was that children with ASD could better express themselves, improving their self-esteem.
