By Opya Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
As the year ends and the holiday season arrives, it’s a meaningful time to reflect on the impact of early intervention autism therapy and express heartfelt gratitude. At Opya Care, our dedicated team provides personalized ABA therapy (Applied Behavior Analysis) for children aged 18 months to 6 years across California, helping them build essential skills for school readiness and greater independence.
In my nearly seven months as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) at Opya, I’ve grown immensely while supporting young children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and their families through compassionate, evidence-based care.
The Rewards of Supporting Clients in Early Intervention ABA Therapy
One of the greatest joys in my role is helping clients develop emerging skills that make a real difference in their daily lives. At Opya Care, our team focuses on early intervention ABA therapy, teaching functional communication, daily living skills, social interactions, and more—while reducing challenging behaviors.
Each child’s progress is unique, and celebrating those milestones reminds me why early intervention is so powerful. I’m committed to ongoing learning to deliver the highest-quality in-home ABA therapy and support families in achieving long-term success.
Opya’s multidisciplinary approach, combining ABA with caregiver training and complementary therapies like speech and occupational therapy when needed, ensures holistic progress for every child.
Deep Gratitude for Mentorship and Clinical Guidance
I’m profoundly thankful for the support I’ve received from day one. Special thanks to Anjanette for her exceptional guidance during training and for providing the resources that helped me pass my RBT certification exam with confidence.
My heartfelt appreciation also goes to Clinical Managers Shabnam and Aubrey, and Clinical Supervisors Manveer and Daniela, for their collaborative support and feedback on shared clients. Additionally, thank you to Felicity for serving as a Clinical Supervisor/Manager and sharing valuable materials, resources, and expert advice that directly help our clients meet their goals.
This level of mentorship reflects Opya’s commitment to clinical excellence and team growth, ultimately benefiting the families we serve through personalized treatment plans.
Thanks to the Dedicated Support Teams at Opya Care
True teamwork extends beyond the clinical side. I’m grateful to Jolie in Human Resources for her responsiveness and help with any questions that arise.
A big thank you as well to the scheduling team, including Debra and Jack, whose behind-the-scenes efforts keep everything running smoothly and allow us to focus on delivering consistent autism therapy services to families throughout California.
Embracing the New Year with Hope and Commitment
Being part of the Opya Care team has been an inspiring experience filled with collaboration, compassion, and a shared passion for making a difference in early autism intervention.
As we enter the new year, I’m excited to continue growing and contributing to our mission of helping children with autism reach their full potential.
To the entire Opya team: Thank you for your unwavering dedication. Wishing you all a Happy New Year brimming with love, joy, health, and quality time with family and loved ones.
