 Seven-year-old Kiedis loves to swim.

Being on the autism spectrum, he is three times more at risk of drowning than his neurotypical peers. His mom, Jo Renshaw, said she enrolled Kiedis in the accredited Autism Swim program because he needed much one-on-one guidance in the water.

“He tends not to be aware of the danger,” she said.
