Early Intervention Autism Therapy Specialists
We provide comprehensive individualized ABA treatment for children 18 months up to 6 years old, accompanied by speech, occupational, and feeding therapies. Your child’s treatment occurs where the most meaningful learning occurs – at home.
With the Right Help, Great Things Can Happen.
Studies show that the early diagnosis and intervention of autism in children, occurring around or near two to three years old, can have significant long-term positive effects on symptoms and enable the development of critical skills.
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy is a treatment that breaks down tasks into small, manageable steps and teaches your child new skills by reinforcing the desired behavior. Unique to each child’s needs, ABA is a clinically proven and effective treatment for children diagnosed with autism.
What is Autism
Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a neurological and developmental disorder often characterized by challenges with behaviors, social skills and interactions, and speech and non-verbal communication. Although autism can be diagnosed at any age, symptoms generally appear in the first two years of life.
With early intervention autism therapy, symptoms can be addressed and significantly improved. Many parents, however, remain unaware of life-changing intervention options such as ABA therapy, which has been shown to benefit children diagnosed with autism.
At Opya, we specialize in personalized in-home early intervention autism therapies including ABA, speech, and occupational therapies for children 18 months up to 6 years old. We built Opya to help every child impacted by autism in our care achieve their best outcome.
How We Work
Early intervention therapy is critical for children diagnosed with autism and helps to improve their long-term outlook. Studies have shown that children who receive early intervention ABA therapy are more likely to make progress in their development than those who do not. We believe in delivering therapy in the child’s home where learning is most meaningful, supporting parents as they learn about autism, and staying connected throughout the child’s treatment journey via technology.
In-Home ABA Therapy
In-home ABA therapy allows your child to receive the same high-quality care they would receive at a clinic but in the comfort of their own home. This can help your child feel more relaxed and less anxious, leading to better results.
Parent training is an essential part of early intervention for children diagnosed with autism. Our parent training programs help parents learn about autism and how to best support their child’s development.
The Opya App
One of our core beliefs at Opya is that connectivity must be at the heart of any autism therapy program. Our HIPAA-compliant app allows us to stay connected and communicate with you between therapy appointments.
How Help Happens
There’s no need to wait months before your child can start ABA therapy. We have board certified behavioral therapists ready to create a customized ABA therapy care plan for your child and family. Starting treatment and in-home autism services takes three steps after your child has received a formal diagnosis of autism.
1. Getting to Know Your Child
Speak with our Client Services team to determine if your child would benefit from our early intervention autism therapy model. Complete our intake process, which includes a courtesy check on your insurance coverage to ensure treatment is covered.
2. Assessment and Treatment Plan Creation
One of our board-certified clinicians will conduct a comprehensive assessment of your child to determine and create a treatment plan tailored and individualized to your child’s specific needs.
3. Care Team Assignment and Treatment
Receive your child’s therapy schedule based on the recommended treatment plan and
hours, meet your clinical care team, and begin daily in-home treatment sessions.
As the parent of a child diagnosed with autism, you may feel overwhelmed and uncertain about how to ensure your child receives the care they need. Opya can help you and your family learn about autism and how to best support your child’s development.
For Medical Professionals
As a medical professional, you know that early intervention autism therapy is critical for your patient’s progress and development. Opya is founded on the idea that the most effective care begins early and is delivered at home, in the child’s natural everyday environment.
